Hi everyone,
Whilst I'm awaiting my 90 day SSS Plan to come through (I'm so excited!!!) I have been drinking (since Friday 31st March) The BooTea TeaTox, a lot of friends and family have been asking about this and how I'm getting on a week in. So here we go:
Product: BooTea 28 Day Detox Price: £16.99 Holland & Barrett (Half Price Sale)

Whats in the box:
One Daytime tea to be consumed before you eat every day for either the 14 day teatox or the 28. One Nighttime cleanser tea to be consumed before bed every other day - So in effect the kit for the 28 day teatox comes with 28 breakfast or daytime tea bags, and 14 of the night cleanse bags.
The look of the tea bags themselves are quite impressive if youre used to herbal teas and green teas, some teatox bags tend to have small grain tea inside whereas this looks natural, with large leaves of goodness and flavour packed inside (see picture below) although I have read experiences of people having their tea bags ripped when they open the bags - this certainly hasn't been the case for me.

Flavours: Daytime Tea
Oolong Tea, Yerba Mate, Ginger, Lemongrass, Fennel Seeds, Dandelion Leaf, Siberian Ginseng, Nettle Leaf, Gotu Kola.
Bedtime Cleanse Tea:
Peppermint, Psyllium Seeds, Fenugreek Seeds, Liquorice Root, Burdock Root, Hawthorn Leaf, Desiccated Coconut.
How does it work?:
BooTea boast No Artificial Colours and 100% Natural Flavourings. They are used to cleanse the body and give you more energy - celebrities like Michelle Keegan was famously pictured with a box before her wedding and we've all seen her abs! As you can probably see from the ingredients above the Bedtime Cleanse has some ingredients that may instill fear... Senna Leaves. So basically it gets your digestive and bowel system moving - to put it politely. It says you should feel the affects of this 10 hours after consuming. Brew each tea for 3 mins.

How I found the Bootea Teatox:
Okay so obviously I'm not the full way through my teatox but I certainly did my research before using the tea, there's a lot of similar products out their and lets face it, it ain't cheap! So i wanted to make sure I was buying the right brand etc. I went online and although it was on their website I found it a lot cheaper at Holland and Barrett. After reading reviews I chose this teatox because:
Comparatively Cheap
Seemed to be a front runner in reviews
I loved how natural the ingredients are
Michelle Keegans abs.....
Taste:
This tea is really nice, I'm used to drinking green tea, and to be honest I do feel hard done by - I don't care what anyone says it isn't as nice as normal tea! However if they sold this as a normal tea without all the stuff that makes you poo like a champ, I'd probably buy this and enjoy it as a treat tea. The evening cleanse tea is especially nice. It's not a chore to have to drink either of them and in fact I actually quite look forward to it.
Does it work:
If you're looking for something that's easy, tastes nice and gets your colon cleansed - yes it does work. Not to go in to too much detail but I'm not all that regular in the bathroom department, and since taking this tea I have been everyday which is unheard of for me. I did read reviews where people have said they barely made it to the bathroom - that certainly hasn't been the case for me, nor have I had horrific diarrhoea - Just normal but everyday instead of once a week!
Weight loss:
Its hard to say with weight loss as I've only been on BooTea for a week and I'm teaming the teatox with my 90 DAY SSS Plan so weight loss will be inevitable. However I feel far less bloated and I do believe it gives me energy.
Hope you've found this helpful!
Emily
